How do I book a table?

You can make a reservation online via our booking form or by calling us directly on +41 44 220 50 60. 

Are there vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, vegetarian and vegan dishes are marked accordingly on our menu. We are also happy to cater to individual requests or intolerances—please let us know when you make your reservation. And for those who want to enjoy a purely plant-based meal, a separate vegan menu is also available on request. 

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant or bar?

We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or bar areas.

Where can I park? Are there on-site parking spaces?

There are no parking spaces available on site. We recommend using public transport. The nearest stop is "Kantonalbank". 

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We offer special children’s menus, high chairs, and colouring sheets with crayons to keep our little guests happily entertained.

Can corporate events (e.g. Christmas parties) be held at Baur’s?

Yes, but not exclusively. For more information about any type of event, please contact us via the contact form.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Brasserie

Is a reservation required at the brasserie?

Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner and on weekends. You can conveniently book your table online using the reservation system or contact us by phone at +41 44 220 50 60 or by email.

What kind of cuisine can I expect at the brasserie?

At Baur's Brasserie, you can expect a sophisticated reinterpretation of classic European cuisine – timeless dishes with a modern twist. From iconic classics such as Wiener schnitzel and Zürcher Geschnetzeltes to elegant fish dishes and creative vegetarian and vegan compositions – only the highest quality seasonal ingredients are served. Bar

Do I need a reservation for the bar?

Our bar thrives on spontaneous enjoyment – reservations are therefore not required and also not possible. Just drop by, take a seat – depending on availability – and let the moment begin in style.

What drinks are served at the bar?

The bar offers a carefully curated selection of classic cocktails, signature drinks, fine wines, and premium spirits. The menu is complemented by small culinary accompaniments.

Can signature cocktails such as Baur's Edigroni also be purchased?

Yes, selected wines, spirits, and signature cocktails such as Baur's Edigroni are also available to enjoy at home. These can be purchased via the Baur au Lac Vins online shop.

Can I use the bar without visiting the restaurant?

Yes, the bar at Baur's Zurich is accessible independently of the restaurant and is ideal for an aperitif, a digestif, or a relaxed evening in a stylish atmosphere.

 

Brunch

When is the brunch at Baur's Zurich?

Brunch is served on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and invites you to enjoy a delicious start to the day with selected classics and fresh, seasonal products.

Is it necessary to make a reservation for brunch?

Reservations are strongly recommended, as Sunday brunch is very popular. Bookings can be made online, by phone at +41 44 220 50 60, or by email.

Are there vouchers for Sunday brunch?

Yes, vouchers are available for Sunday brunch. These make ideal gifts and can be conveniently purchased online as well as general vouchers for the restaurant.
